Our business was established to fill a gap in the market – marketing services with a specialised investment focus.
We understand investing.

Our mission is to help product providers and fund managers grow their businesses by increasing funds flow associated with the Australian financial services market. This is done through specialized investment marketing strategies, extensive experience and a network with key decision makers in the industry.

Gateway was founded in 2004 by Amanda Rethus and Edwina Best - two finance professionals who:
• Worked as a team at the Macquarie Group representing Macquarie products to the retail market place across all asset sectors
• Developed a practical perspective as senior executives as to when, why and what sort of external help is useful
• Developed specialist capabilities – Amanda via 13 years managing assets at Macquarie and GSJBWere, across a diverse
• range of asset sectors; and Edwina via experience in product development, relationship management and marketing at
• Macquarie.

Our experience tells us that senior executives facing hurdles in accessing funds flow can be constrained by factors such as: lack of people with time to address the challenges, insufficient depth in specialised skills, or too close to the product to be able to market it objectively. In this context experienced senior executives consider outside help.
