Amanda has over 25 years experience in the Financial Services industry and was formerly a Divisional Director in the Financial Services Group of Macquarie.

Amanda managed investment portfolios for over 10 years, at times managing in excess of $2 Billion in funds under management. At both JB Were and Macquarie she was varyingly responsible for the management of Australian Equities, Cash, Fixed Interest and Property Securities Trusts as well as strategic asset allocation and strategy development for diversified funds.

In the 10 years prior to establishing Gateway Financial Marketing, Amanda represented Macquarie to Researchers and Platforms. As a Divisional Director, Amanda was also part of Macquarie’s Adviser Sales senior management team involved in budgeting, staff development, product development and the planning and implementation of marketing plans.

As Director and Co-founder of Gateway since January 2004, Amanda has assisted numerous fund managers from both Australia and offshore, to assess their prospects for success and prepare for possible hurdles in the Australian financial services market.

Amanda has a Bachelor of Science with Honors from Melbourne University and is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in psychology with an interest in coaching for emotional intelligence, leadership and mid-career development. She is also an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.
